Biographical Information:
jOSE Zamora is a native to California. He comes from a family of artist and musicians. A self taught artist. His natural interest in painting was at age 14. When he made trips to the forest and started painting plein air. Without knowing at that time. One night, his father notice his interest in the arts. And one night told him that him that his great great grandfather also did the same thing at an early age. He left his village into the mountains and came out with paintings. Although he had never meet his great great grandfather. He felt a close connection to him thru his paintings and found his personal motivation drive to be artist.
Having a successful career in the entertainment & product design industry (Disney). He has always continued his personal career as a traditional painter: plein air, still life & figurative. He continues to pursue his studies with today's accomplished artist. jOSE will always considers himself to be a student of the arts because there is so much to learn in life as an artist.
