Biographical Information:
Born in Abilene, Kansas, Bonese Collins Turner is an artist, designer, educator who deals primarily with drawing, painting and printmaking. She works out of her studio in Woodland Hills, CA.

Artist Statement:
These series "...in the beginning" and "Ongoing Concerns" are both the outgrowths of my long, continuing exploratin by visual means. Simply speaking, they are an artist's musings on science and our world shaped by personal experience and the excitement of our time. Memories of childhood visits to my father's laboratories still retain that feeling of wonder and mystery. These works attempt to express some of that same wonder and mystery; they are also a small tribute to my father and others like him - those that seek knowledge, question, explore and strive. The work is intensely personal, autobiographical and, I hope, still meaningful and insightful to others.
