Biographical Information:
I am a photorealism painter from Los Angeles who works with acrylic paints. I hold a Bachelors Degree in graphic design. A lot of what you learn as a graphic designer in terms of placement, composition and heirarchy can be applied to your painting. So I do.

I've been exhibiting since 2012 in places such as the USC Medical Village Violence Prevention Center, Autry Museum of the American West, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, the Ontario Museum of History and Art, and MOLAA to name a few and various art galleries throughout Los Angeles County.

Some of my professional and volunteer projects include working for Temple Elementary in Rosemead California as an after scool art instructor for Woodcraft Rangers. I also have extensive experience working as an artist assistant and creating large scale backdrops for the entertainment industry.

I've volunteered my time as a guest speaker to Bell Gardens High School and Los Nietos Middle School. I talk and answer questions from the students regarding the artist experience.

I like to paint about everything. From a bowl of fruit to social issues addressing the human condition. There's a lot to paint about. As an artist, a visual communicator, I don't want to waste your time when you visit the gallery. I hope to leave behind paintings that were worth staring at.

Artist Statement:
I don't want to waste your time when you visit the gallery. I hope to leave behind paintings that were worth staring at.

So even if it's a simple painting of a relative watching T.V., a bowl of fruit, another landscape, or a painting regarding the human condition, I want it to stand out somehow. I try to grab your attention through technique, interesting compostions, the use of detail and color combinations.
