featuring 11 of PSA’s long-time members

Join us for an art and fun filled afternoon at the annual ARTWalk'09. PSA teams with the Playhouse District for the 4th year in presenting Pasadena's largest urban art fair - over 6,000 people attended the 2008 ARTWalk.

ARTWalk highlights some of the best Southern Californian visual artists showcasing their work in painting, sculpture, watercolor, photography, mixed media, ceramics, jewelry, drawings and printmaking. Look for these PSA artists: Seda Baghdasarian, Kathleen Ballard, Robin M. Cohen, Jose Luis DeJuan, Rick Drobner, Stephen Elson, David Grigsby, Jeffry Jensen, Warner LeMenager, Lynda A.N. Reyes, Leslie Saeta, Herbie Simmons, David Spurlin, Jackie Steimke, Fritz Suter and Karen Winters.

The ARTWalk is open from 11:00am to 5:00pm in the heart of the Playhouse District, on El Molino between Colorado & Green Streets in Pasadena.

PSA is hosting a new series of lectures entitled ARTChat '09, held in conjunction with ARTWalk'09. The lectures will be held at El Portal Restaurant, 695 East Green Street, Pasadena - in the Maya Room (11:00am-1:30p) and in the Courtyard (2:00p-4:30p).

On Saturday, October 10th, the Walter Hoving Home Exhibition will feature the works of some long-time PSA members as part of their 25th Anniversary celebration. Please join us in honoring: Christopher (Kit) Davis, Jane Friend, Gwen Gordon, Arthur Kaye, Mildred Lapson, Robert Moore, Victor Picou, Irena Raulinaitis, David Spurlin, Argie Taylor, Bonese Turner.

The exhibition is a short walk from ARTWalk '09 at 127 El Molina Ave, Pasadena (1 block south of the Pasadena Playhouse). It will be open to the public from 11:00am until 5:00pm, at no charge. From 5pm until 7pm, there is a $25.00 fundraiser event. Please come support The Walter Hoving Home and view the excellent works from many of our long-time members.
