I want my paintings to express the strong emotion and energy that I feel for life, and the best way that I feel that I can convey that is through the use of strong vivid colors.

It has been acknowledged that the soul of a man can be reflected and recorded in his art. The art of expression is in itself an ability innate to the artist. To be able to portray deep emotion throughout a piece of painting is in itself a direct communication from the soul. Many times we need to have that communication in order to feel more alive.

We need the energy of art to keep us going. It is very important for a civilization to have enough art to create a strong force of positive energy towards its population. A civilization cannot flourish and prosper without enough creation and art.

My goal as an artist is to help to create a new civilization.

Lore is a contemporary artist located in Los Angeles, California. Lore uses several media to express her viewpoint of life. Her work is featured in several private collections throughout Southern California, Florida, Germany, Hawaii, Canada, and Mexico. Her work has been exhibited in several galleries in the United States.

Lore insists on personal expression and pursues the expressiveness of color throughout her paintings. Lore uses pure brilliant color applied straight from the paint tubes in an aggressive, direct manner to create a sense of an explosion on the canvas.

Her work is invested with a strong expressive reaction to the subject she paints. Lore’s studies and travels to Japan, China, France, Amsterdam, and Italy (where she lived for some time) led her to reject traditional renderings of three-dimensional space and to seek instead a new picture space defined by interaction of color.

She uses brisk strokes of color-black, reds, and greens- that form energetic expressive paintings. Lore developed a rather carefree ornamental version of the bold style that suits her own personal aesthetic nature. Lore’s emphasis on color creates a completely modern and innovative way of strength in art expression.
