| Artist Statement: |
I am inspired by the spirit of nature and I focus on its emotive qualities.
My intent is to reveal multi layered dimension:
illusory, surreal and hyperreal.
My work combines the elements of art and photography.
I utilize traditional photographic technique:
film and a single lens reflex camera.
Each image is custom printed in the darkroom on fiber based archival photographic paper.
While I primarily shoot in black and white,
I often take the image to another level by painting on it with oils. |
