FOUNDING CHARTER ARTISTS
Charter Member Seal Benjamin C Brown brought eight other Pasadena artists together in March 1925 and they decided to form the Pasadena Society of Artists. They planned to produce their first exhibition at the beginning of April and were joined my seven more artists who all became the Charter Members. Developing a history of our founders is a work in progress.

OUR FOUNDING MEMBERS LOST

The Pasadena Society of Artists is looking for any information you may know about these Founding Charter Members. You may have noticed the gaps. Please help!

We are building an online history of The Society. Due to the lack of reccord keeping in the early years, and prior to digital data storage, we appeal to collectors, galleries and museums for assistance.

Please contact David Johnson, PSA historian, if you have any knowledge about original art, or biographical information for these Southern California artists producing work from 1910 forward.
Thank You Very Much.
